Fab Favorite Bloggers - Drea Marie

I am so excited to do this post series! I’ve been coming up with this concept for a while and was ecstatic when I got it started. I follow a ton of blogs. I've actually followed blogs before I even had the idea to start my own. I love seeing different perspectives on every aspect of life and I get that through blogs. The blogging community is so big that I thought I would share a few of my favorite blogs/bloggers. I was lucky enough to be able to connect with some of my favorite bloggers to participate and be featured in these posts.

My first blogger featured is Drea Marie of spark{le}. I found her site by complete chance on Instagram and have been loving it ever since.

How did you first get into blogging?
Okay, so, I’m a total girls girl. I LOVE sharing style, décor, health & beauty tips. My girlfriends would text me for my recipes, the name of the shirt I was wearing in my latest Instagram post or my fav go to makeup products. I kept thinking it would be great to put all of my recipes PLUS beauty/style tricks in one easy to access place…. Voila, my blog was born.
After months I got up the courage to actually buy a domain. Being a type A perfectionist, it took several more months before spark{le} was finally live.

How do you find inspiration for your posts?
MY GIRLFRIENDS. If someone were to listen in on girls' night they would hear “Oh my gosh, my sister just got the BEST mascara” or “Everyone, go and pick up this plain black maxi dress from H&M. It’s $10 and so comfortable.”. These are the kinds of things my readers want to know.
Have you faced writer's block? How do you work past it?
Yes, every blogger does. It’s totally normal. Personally, if I’m facing writer’s block I’ll go through the camera roll on my phone. I take photos of everything. A new product I wanna try? Screenshot. This new lipstick my girlfriend loves? Photo. That’s what works for me. And the odd time it doesn’t? I’ll simply ask my readers what THEY want to know more about.
What would you want your audience to take away from your blog?
Something USEFUL. Also, to feel good about themselves. I want them to know that everything is about BALANCE. Gym and salad days happen, but so do cupcakes and Netflix days.

What advice would you give to aspiring bloggers?
Put yourself out there. Start taking photos of everything. Like EVERYTHING. Be yourself and know that you don’t have to be perfect.
Where do you see blogging taking you in the future?
Honestly, I’m not sure at all. I do this because I love it. I love building a following and sharing more and more with each and every reader. Wherever that takes me will be just perfect.

Keep checking back to see more of my favorites!
